Featuring six great comedians all born and bred in the North East of England.
"The big man of Northern comedy" Steffen Peddie (from Killingworth) introduces...........
TV star and local hero Gavin Webster (Blaydon), the award-winning Sarah Millican (South Shields), highly talented writer and stand-up Mark Maier (Gosforth) , top national comic Richard Morton (Hexham), with the added slapstick burlesque skills of Warren Speed (Great Ayton).

Hells Belles - Comedy workshop - Ladies only.
Hells Belles Comedy Cabaret, in conjuction with Growling Clown Entertainment, can now confirm that we will be running a Comedy Workshop as part of the Newcastle Gateshead comedy festival.
Our workshops are for ladies only, sorry fellas, but this leads to a supportive and creative environment in which to try your hand at something new or get development and feedback on writing and performances that you may have had in mind for some time.
Anything goes.... The workshop will contain a heady mix of physical warm ups, comedy theory backed up with well-proven rib tickling exercises and a chance to get involved in some comedy writing. Spread the word, get booked and get along.... See you all there!
If you are inspired by the NewcastleGateshead Comedy Festival, or have just been wanting to do something different for ages, then come along and join in.
